CSI Kings Cross

6.00 am, 40 minutes, Moore & Centennial Park

A slow and steady start to the run due to the abnormally low level of criminal activity in the local streets on the way out to the park.

Today was another borderline run. The pace of my runs is not far off recovery run pace, but the levels of discomfort seem to be creeping up. I might only need a few days off again.

I'm headed back to the pool real soon. Better get the budgie smugglers out.

sounds like you should have started your run a few hours earlier. must be fun side stepping the debris on some of those paths and steps..

Hmm, your running seems to be influenced by both your injuries and the crime rate. Your optimal performance will occur when you are injury free and the crime rate is at its highest. Ponder this:-

E/I x C = P

E = Effort
I = Injury
C = Crime rate
P = Performance

I've heard you are candidate for the David Caruso slot.

Running on those border lines ruins your gait - no wonder it was starting to hurt....

Still swapping the borderlines for the black lines might be the sensible option.

Buy a bike ;-)
