Return to sweat
6.15 am, 4 * 1.5km fartlek, Centennial Park
Good fun running around the lake this morning at sweat training. Nice to be back running and doing speed work, although I felt pretty ordinary all the way around.
Foot pulled up a bit sore afterwards, no swelling though. I'm hoping the foot will get accustomed to running again in the next few days, otherwise I'm headed for a long, long break from running.

You'll be back in full swing in no time.
Welcome back retiree. That Zimmer frame must have been hard work around the lake.
Great to see you back DJ - You did remember to take your flippers off I hope!
Great to see you back DJ. I know you felt sluggish but you still showed me a clean pair of heels.
I wonder if you've read Agatha Christie's "And then there were none"? Actually, then there were three; I'm out!!!
We all obviously picked Swans and Weagles this week. So, it's up to you three now. Good luck. No matter what happens, I finish 4th. I'm happy to therefore disclose that my selected and supported team are the same: Weagles.
BTW, looking at this week's result, I wonder how tippers can get 1 point? Quite a few - mathematically tricky to understand.
Good news on the running return - nice and steady and you'll be firing soon...
I remember when I was body corporate secretary for my unit block in Abbotsford back in the 80s. I had to eject a private eye from our premises - he was doing some workers comp spying and felt he could take close range snaps of an owner well on-site. Wrong. He didn't impress me when he flashed his shooter either. He also left when I threatened him with the cops. Guess he knew they didn't take kindly to play-cops...
