Weekly Long Run
8.00 am, 8 minutes, Rushcutters Bay
This morning wasn't the most successful of long runs. I lasted a whole 4 minutes before the left foot made it clear it wasn't up to a run. I've seen a G.P. this afternoon and got a referral to a surgeon.
In the meantime, back to the pool.
I also crashed this afternoon and had another nap; I was still recovering from Saturday night's dinner, karaoke and early-morning dancing at Owl and Tesso's birthday party. Glad I don't do that very often.

Bugger. So sorry to hear about your foot. Hope your appointment with the surgeon gives you some positive answers.
BTW, I needed (but didn't) have a sleep this afternoon. All that kareoke signing really takes it out of you ;-)
Sounds like you had a big enough workout on Saturday night to not have to worry about the long run anyway DJ - surgery is good for ganglions - you'll be back in no time and if your a good boy the surgeon may even let you bring it home in a jar ;-)
Where are the photos from Saturday night?
Sorry to hear about the 4 minutes. Now, if you'd run a mile ;)
Thats dissapointing! At least you can get it done and get fit again over summer :-) Take care and put your feet up!

Me too...especially after your reminder about the taxi ride!
